Datahub for local WISE-PaaS?

By Aston Nugroho @astonix2020-08-27 08:14:16.035Z

Hi All,
I've downloaded all the training materials.
Just curious, does every project with local WISE-PaaS need to configure node credential in Datahub in order to connect/read datasource?
Can i just direct connect to the local webaccess tags and then "call" from WISE-PaaS?

The node credential provided by a DataHub SCADA project can be used in multiple local WebAccess projects.
This is necessary if you want to use the DataHub datasource in the Dashboard to create visualization of your tag values.
If you are developing applications, it is possible to get local WebAccess tag values directly with API, but then you will not be able to use the DataHub datasource in the Dashboard.

How to use the API to be connected with webaccess tags?

we are proposing to the client to use on premise webaccess/SCADA installation with WISE-PaaS dashboard.
So, we don't need datahub to reduce complexity and cost effective.

@astonix there is a technical memo on WebAccess API at ... We don't have an English version of this doc yet but the descriptions of the API endpoints should explain themselves. Let us know if you have questions using the API's. Thanks.
