# \[upgrade\]Enabler is about to upgrade with IoT Edge

if you are iFactory applications user, you must know that Enabler has been a very important job in collecting the data and forwarding it to the applications, and we also receive a great amount of feedback that their customer would like to start simpler jobs by collecting data, pre-process it for ERP to MES IT system or cloud.

seeing this need growing, we are upgrading the enabler to better performance IoT hub, which is named IoT Edge, it can be a stand-alone product, installed on any computer start from Intel i3, Ram 4G.
