If you want a certain node in the business topology not to appear on the frontend, you can mark that node with the label "virtual-meter".
This way, the node will not be shown in the frontend topology view. The steps are as follows:
- Open InsightAPM → Asset Group Management → select a business asset group, click to enter, then select a specific node (e.g., Meter2) as shown in the image below.
- Double-click the node (e.g., Meter2), rename its description to
"virtual-meter"and save it.
Note: The "virtual-meter" label method currently only applies to nodes in business asset groups. It is not yet supported for meters in instrumentation asset groups. This will be optimized in future versions.
